Confusion Over RAM Slot Count on My Acer Predator PHN16-71-9148: Seeking Clarification
I recently encountered an intriguing situation with my Acer Predator PHN16-71-9148 laptop. While examining the system details, both the Task Manager and CPU-Z indicated that my device has four RAM slots, yet my physical inspection revealed only two accessible RAM slots. This discrepancy has left me scratching my head.
Initially, I pondered whether the Software might be mistakenly including SSD slots in its count, but that doesn’t seem feasible. If that were the case, I would expect it to show two occupied slots instead of three out of four being unused.
To provide a bit more context, my laptop is equipped with an Intel Core i9 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, and currently runs on a single 16GB RAM stick.
I’m reaching out to the community for insights or explanations regarding this issue. Are there any others who have experienced similar confusion with their laptop specifications? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
