Troubleshooting Monitor Issues: My LG FLATRON W1943SS Has a White Spot in the Center – What Should I Do?

After sitting unused in my attic for around three years, I recently decided to dust off my LG FLATRON W1943SS monitor. With my laptop serving me well throughout college, I now find myself in need of an additional screen for my work. However, I’ve encountered a puzzling issue: there’s an unexplained white spot in the center of the display.
