Troubleshooting My Monitor’s Odd Behavior: A Frustrating Mystery
I’ve recently found myself grappling with a peculiar issue involving my Acer GD245HQ monitor. While it functions flawlessly during use – I even completed my favorite game, GTA 5, on it without a hitch – the situation turns bizarre each night when I turn it off using the power button. The next morning, it stubbornly refuses to power back on, leaving me perplexed.
Here’s how it typically plays out: I switch off the monitor, and come morning, there’s no sign of life. The power button seems to be in good shape and isn’t malfunctioning, so I often resort to unplugging the monitor and relying on my backup display. Strangely, after a couple of days of being left unplugged, the monitor mysteriously revives itself. This has now occurred four times, prompting me to vow against turning it off with that button ever again!
