My computer is stuck in a continuous copy-paste loop, and I can’t use it anymore.

My Computer’s Persistent Glitch: A Troublesome Digital Mystery

If you’ve ever encountered a frustrating situation on your computer, you’re not alone. Recently, I found myself at my wit’s end as my computer seemingly began copy-pasting random content without any input from me. This bizarre behavior rendered my device almost unusable.

The Beginning of the Chaos

Starting from yesterday, things took a turn for the worse. Whenever I logged in, my computer would automatically copy text and files from random locations. After several frustrating restarts, which provided only temporary relief, the issue resurfaced repeatedly. I attempted various solutions, including resetting the system and uninstalling drivers, but nothing seemed to alleviate the problem.

I even switched out my keyboard, suspecting that it might be the culprit—but to no avail. It was as if the computer had a mind of its own.

This situation had me feeling entirely overwhelmed and confused.

In a desperate bid to document this strange phenomenon, I recorded several videos showcasing the erratic copying behavior and shared my progress in the form of images. I was determined to find a solution!

A Systematic Investigation

Soon, I isolated the USB drive as a suspect in this tech whodunit. After formatting my device and performing a full reset, everything seemed to return to normal—until I reinserted the USB drive, and the disruption began anew.

Frustrated but undeterred, I tried a factory reset. It provided a brief respite of about an hour before the strange glitch returned. The next step on my agenda was a fresh installation of Windows.

The Ongoing Struggle

Despite my diligent factory reset efforts, the problem refused to disappear. I ran various malware and antivirus scans based on recommendations from helpful friends, but none managed to identify the root of the issue. It began to dawn on me that a complete wipe of the system might be necessary.

When I completed a clean installation of Windows, I thought I had finally overcome the obstacle. However, this relief was short-lived. My troubles reappeared, leading me to suspect that perhaps
