Unexplained Laptop Activity: A Frightening Encounter with Remote Access
Recently, I had a very unsettling experience that left me both confused and alarmed. About twenty minutes ago, as I was preparing to sleep, I noticed my laptop’s cursor moving on its own. At first, I thought I was dreaming, but it soon became clear that something unusual was happening.
In a state of disbelief, I quickly confirmed that I had disconnected my laptop from the internet, thinking that this would prevent any unwanted access. As I sat there, I watched in horror as the cursor operated with remarkable precision, opening browser tabs in both Opera GX and Microsoft Edge without my intervention.
In a bid to understand what was transpiring, I double-checked my Bluetooth settings, concerned that my mouse might be malfunctioning. However, I found that everything was turned off, raising more questions than answers. The movements of the cursor were deliberate and human-like, which only added to my anxiety.
