Troubleshooting an Old ASUS Laptop: Seeking Repair Insights

Welcome to my blog! Today, I am reaching out to the community for assistance with a technical challenge I’ve encountered while trying to revive my vintage ASUS X54C laptop. Initially, I set out to diagnose an intermittent issue with the charging port. At times, the laptop wouldn’t charge, which led me to believe there was a fault that needed addressing.

After disassembling the laptop in hopes of pinpointing the problem, I carefully reassembled it only to discover something frustrating: the device now refuses to power on or charge at all. I’m at a bit of a standstill and could use some fresh perspectives or advice on how to proceed from here.
