Passed the Comptia Security+ Certification Exam on my first go… Don’t be afraid.

Successfully Completed the CompTIA Security+ Certification Exam: My Encouragement to Others

I’m thrilled to share that I passed the CompTIA Security+ certification exam on my very first attempt! For anyone feeling hesitant or anxious about their own preparation, I want to assure you that it was not as daunting as I had initially imagined.

While the exam presented its challenges, it ultimately exceeded my expectations in terms of difficulty. I found that only a few questions were phrased a bit ambiguously, and I was pleasantly surprised by the simulation section. Contrary to my original belief that I would have to recall specific commands from memory, the simulations were more akin to matching questions or selecting answers from dropdown menus.

Looking back, my nervousness around the simulations caused me to delay taking the exam, as I thought I needed additional practice. In reality, I had already acquired the knowledge I needed, and it was self-doubt that held me back.

For those preparing for the exam, here’s my best piece of advice: engage in practice tests once you feel confident in your studies and strive to pass them consistently. If you encounter questions that stump you, don’t linger—mark them for review and move on. Sometimes, later questions may provide hints that spark your recollection. Remember to go back and revisit them at the end of the exam to give them another shot.

I also want to take a moment to express my gratitude to the supportive members of this community. The wealth of information, advice, and resources shared here has been invaluable to my journey through the field of cybersecurity.

Wishing you all the best of luck in your examination endeavors!

P.S. Thank you to everyone for the kind words and recognition—your support means the world to me! I couldn’t have achieved this milestone without the encouragement of this community.
