PC BSOD more than ever before. Anything I can do?

Troubleshooting Frequent Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on Your PC

Experiencing a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on your PC can be both frustrating and alarming, especially if it seems to be happening more frequently. If you find yourself facing system crashes on Windows 11, particularly with an Nvidia graphics card, you’re not alone. Many users have encountered similar issues, often linked to driver malfunctions.

Identifying the Problem

It appears that broken Nvidia drivers could be the primary culprit behind these BSOD incidents. A few weeks ago, I suspected that my Nvidia drivers were failing, and despite attempting various updates and rollbacks, the situation has continued to deteriorate. Oddly enough, my computer usage has mainly revolved around simple tasks like web browsing and media consumption, with no recent gaming activity that could potentially trigger resource-heavy errors.

Seeking Expert Analysis

In an effort to diagnose this dilemma further, I would like to share my experience and enlist help from anyone experienced in analyzing minidump files. If you have knowledge of troubleshooting BSOD issues or if you are familiar with the intricacies of system crash logs, your insights would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the technical details of my setup:

  • Operating System: Windows 11 (with the latest update, 24H2)
  • Computer Model: Lenovo P15v Gen 1 (types 20TQ, 20TR)
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia Quadro P620

To provide more context, I’ve uploaded the latest minidump file for review at the following link: Download Minidump.

If anyone has suggestions or can help decipher the minidump to determine if there are underlying issues beyond the Nvidia driver, I would be immensely grateful. Any recommendations on troubleshooting steps or additional resources would also be welcomed. Your expertise could make a significant difference in resolving this pesky problem!
