Troubleshooting a Persistent PC Issue: Seeking Solutions
If you’re a PC enthusiast, you know the feeling of facing unexpected hardware issues all too well. Today, I’d like to share a frustrating conundrum I’ve been grappling with since purchasing my computer, in hopes of gathering some insights from the community.
My motherboard is the EX-A320M-GAMING, and from the outset, I’ve been dealing with a recurring problem. The most alarming symptom is the beeping pattern I experience when attempting to power it up: one long beep followed by two short beeps. Initially, I found a temporary solution by fiddling with the RAM sticks—whether by cleaning them, swapping their slots, or replacing them entirely. This approach usually worked, and I could get my system up and running.
However, my latest attempt to resolve the issue has proven to be far more challenging. Despite following my usual troubleshooting steps, including removing and reinserting the motherboard battery to reset the system, I’ve encountered a new predicament. While the PC powers on without emitting any beeps, there is still no video output and my peripherals remain unresponsive.
Interestingly, when I remove all the RAM sticks, I do hear the familiar one long beep and two short beeps. Yet, if I insert either one or two RAM sticks in any slot, the system powers on silently—no beeping whatsoever, and still no video output.
At this point, I’m reaching out for assistance. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has suggestions on how to diagnose the underlying problem, your input would be greatly appreciated! Whether it’s a motherboard issue, a RAM compatibility concern, or something else entirely, I’m eager for any advice that could help resolve this longstanding dilemma. Thank you in advance for your thoughts!
