Should I Return This MacBook Air? Weighing My Options
Recently, I purchased a MacBook Air through eBay, and I’ve encountered a small issue: the top left corner of the LED screen appears to have some damage. While it’s quite minimal and does not interfere with the laptop’s functionality, it’s still concerning.
Now, I find myself at a crossroads. I have the option to return the laptop for a full refund, or I can keep it and accept an $80 credit towards the purchase. This decision has me wondering: could the slight screen damage worsen over time?
When it comes to electronic devices, especially laptops, any form of damage can provoke questions about long-term usability and reliability. While the current issue is minor, there’s always a possibility it might evolve into something more serious. On the other hand, if the laptop continues to function well without any noticeable decline in performance, the $80 credit could be a tempting incentive to keep it.
As I mull over my choices, I’m careful to consider the long-term implications of keeping a device that—despite its present functionality—has already shown some signs of wear. Does anyone out there have experience with similar situations? Your insights would be greatly appreciated as I navigate this decision!
