Someone has hacked into my Account for over 3 weeks, and I still cant get Amazon to get them out. I don’t know what else to do, and my post got deleted from r/Amazon.

Battling Account Hacking: A Frustrating Amazon Experience

It’s been over three weeks since my Amazon account was compromised, and despite my best efforts, the situation remains unresolved. My attempts to seek help through various channels, including a post on r/Amazon that was removed, have proven largely ineffective, leaving me feeling helpless and anxious about the security of my personal information.

The ordeal began when I noticed unfamiliar debit and credit cards linked to my account, alongside shipping addresses that were not mine. To complicate matters, items have been ordered and sent to my residence—none of which I purchased. This situation raises concerns that I may be a victim of a brushing scam, but I can’t say for certain.

In an effort to regain control, I have placed several calls to Amazon’s customer service—over five, to be exact—and even had my account locked on two separate occasions. I’ve taken all recommended precautions, including changing my password more than ten times and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on both my Amazon account and the connected email address. Additionally, I have removed access for all devices previously logged into my account.

Despite these measures, Amazon assures me that they have “sanitized” my account, yet I continue to encounter the same issues. The prospect of having to close my account is daunting; I have accumulated years of order history and valuable perks from managing my children’s baby registries, which I would prefer not to lose.

As I navigate this frustrating situation, I am left wondering what else I can do to protect my account and regain control. If anyone has insight into effective remedies or experiences to share, I would greatly appreciate your advice. It’s essential to take action against account hacking, and I hope to resolve this matter soon before it escalates further.
