Introducing Our Live Tech Support Chat: Get Help Instantly!

We are excited to announce the launch of our Official Tech Support Live Chat! This is your opportunity to get real-time assistance for your tech-related queries.

Join the Live Chat Here!

Yes, you read that correctly! Click on the link provided to access the live chat directly. Please refrain from posting your questions in this blog post; head over to the chat for immediate support!

A big thank you goes out to /u/-Mikee for helping us bring this live chat functionality to our community. If you prefer using your own Software to connect, you can join us on #TechSupport at irc.snoonet.org.

Important: Please choose a unique nickname when you join the chat instead of using the default (snoo_xxxxx). This will help our support team assist you more effectively.

Helpful Tips for Engaging in the Live Chat

If you have a detailed issue to discuss, we recommend not copying and pasting long descriptions directly into the chat. Instead, share a link to your support request on /r/TechSupport or paste your information on a Pastebin.

How to Set Up Your Password

To ensure no one else can take your nickname while you’re in the chat, it’s crucial to set up a password. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Join the live chat as before.
  2. Copy and paste the following command into the chat, customizing it with your chosen password and email address:

/msg NickServ REGISTER yourpassword [email protected]

  1. After hitting enter, check your email for a verification message (be sure to check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see it right away). The email will instruct you to enter a code in the chat that looks like this:

/msg NickServ VERIFY REGISTER yourusername code

  1. Finally, paste the entire code into the chat. Your chosen password will now be associated with your nickname, and you’ll need to enter this password each time you log in to the chat.

If you’re using KiwiIRC, just tick the “I have a password” checkbox and enter your password when you log in. For other IRC clients, please follow the password prompt or enter the following command after joining the channel:
