Understanding and Addressing the TrojanDownloader:HTML/Adodb.gen!A Threat on Discord Cache

Recently, I encountered a concerning issue while using my computer—Windows Defender flagged a malware threat labeled TrojanDownloader:HTML/Adodb.gen!A. This detection raised alarms, prompting me to take immediate action to eliminate the potential risk posed by this malware.

During my initial scans, the malware was detected in two separate Discord cache files. Windows Defender successfully quarantined these files, which seemed to be a positive step. However, in my attempt to resolve the situation, I chose to click the ‘remove’ option, believing that it would entirely eradicate the threat. Following my routine, I ran another scan, only to find the same Trojan malware once again lurking in two additional Discord cache files.
