Title: Addressing the TrojanDownloader:HTML/Adodb.gen!A Threat in Your Discord Cache
Recently, I encountered a concerning issue with my computer when Windows Defender flagged a Trojan, specifically the TrojanDownloader:HTML/Adodb.gen!A. The detection occurred twice, with the Trojan being found in different Discord cache files. Following the alerts, I opted to quarantine these files, believing this action would eliminate the threat completely.
However, after rebooting my computer and running additional scans, Windows Defender identified the Trojan once again in two new cache files associated with Discord. This prompted me to seek clarity on how to effectively remove this threat and whether my previous actions were sufficient or inadvertently allowed the Trojan to persist.
As of now, the files in question remain in quarantine, but I find myself uncertain about the best course of action moving forward. Should I take further steps to cleanse these files or perhaps investigate additional preventive measures?
If anyone has faced a similar issue or can offer guidance, I would greatly appreciate your insights. Additionally, I am open to providing more information in the comments if needed. Thank you in advance for your help!
