Unusual Firewall Exception: “No Connection” – Have You Encountered This?

While working on improving my download speeds for GOG Galaxy, I stumbled upon a peculiar firewall exception named “No Fucking connection.” This discovery occurred as I was adding a new exception to my firewall settings in hopes of overcoming a frustrating download speed that had plummeted to just 1 Mbps. Fortunately, my efforts paid off, and the download speed improved significantly.

However, I’m left puzzled by the existence of this bizarre exception. Upon exploring its details, I found no descriptive information regarding its purpose or origin. I don’t recall creating this entry nor can I trace it back to any particular game or application.
