Unraveling a Mysterious Firewall Exception: “No Connection”
Recently, I stumbled upon a peculiar firewall exception labeled “No Fucking Connection” while I was troubleshooting my GOG Galaxy download speeds. My intention was straightforward: to add an exception aimed at improving my download speed, which had been frustratingly stuck at 1 Mbps. To my surprise, making that adjustment did indeed enhance my speeds, but the bizarre naming of the exception left me puzzled.
What’s curious is that when I clicked for more details, there was no accompanying description, leaving me with more questions than answers. I certainly don’t recall creating this exception myself, and I’m baffled as to which game or application could be responsible for its presence.
Have any of you encountered a similar situation with unidentifiable firewall exceptions? If so, I would greatly appreciate your insights on how to pinpoint the program linked to this curious entry.
