His early days in the bustling Chicago Bulletin Board System (BBS) scene in the late 80s, along with his experience using a Commodore 64 and an Intel 386 PC, laid the foundation for a lifetime of passion for cybersecurity.

Before joining Kraken, Nick held notable positions including Chief Security Officer at Uptake, an industrial AI firm, and Vice President of Global Services at Rapid7, a prominent cybersecurity company. He has not only shaped the security strategies within organizations but has also shared his expertise at illustrious events like Black Hat, DEF CON, and OWASP, along with private briefings for key players such as the Department of Homeland Security and Interpol.

A Leader in Cybersecurity

As the CSO at Kraken, Nick oversees Security, IT, and Engineering, focusing on safeguarding the cryptocurrency exchange from an array of cyber threats.
