Exciting News: I’ve Secured My First Internship!
I’m thrilled to share some fantastic news with everyone! A few weeks ago, I reached out for advice regarding internship interviews, and I’m happy to report that I landed the contract!
Thanks to the incredible community over at r/cybersecurity, I received invaluable insights that helped me navigate the application process. Starting my summer break in about three weeks, I will be signing the internship contract, which also includes a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
During this internship, I will be collaborating on an exciting web application project alongside a QA intern. The internship is set to last for three months, and if I demonstrate my skills effectively, there’s a potential opportunity for a part-time position that will be compensated.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took the time to respond to my initial post. Your support means the world to me!
Additionally, I truly appreciate all the congratulatory messages and kind words. The awards from the community have been overwhelming! Thank you all for your encouragement—let’s see where this journey takes me!
Stay tuned for more updates!

Congratulations on securing your internship!
That’s a fantastic achievement, and it’s great to see your efforts and community support paying off. As you prepare to sign your NDA, ensure you thoroughly review the document to understand your confidentiality obligations. If you haven’t already, consider consulting with a legal professional or your company’s HR department to clarify any clauses you’re unsure about.
During your internship, it’s beneficial to document your work and learnings regularly. This will not only help you track your progress but can also be valuable for future opportunities, such as the potential part-time position mentioned.
Remember to maintain clear communication with your supervisors and peers, and don’t hesitate to ask questions or seek guidance when needed. Engaging proactively will maximize your internship experience and open doors for future career growth.
Wishing you the best of luck on this exciting journey! If you encounter any technical issues or need assistance related to web applications or cybersecurity projects during your internship, feel free to reach out.
