Version 66: As the young person seeking tips for internship interviews, I ended up landing the offer.

Exciting News: I Landed My First Internship!

I’m thrilled to share that I have officially secured my first internship contract! This opportunity comes as a result of the invaluable advice I received from the wonderful members of the r/cybersecurity community.

In just about three weeks, I will be signing the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and internship contract as I kick off my summer break. I’m set to work on an exciting web application project alongside another intern focused on Quality Assurance.

This internship spans three months, and there’s a promising path ahead. If I demonstrate strong skills throughout the program, I could transition into a part-time role with compensation—an incredible chance to enhance my experience.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to my earlier post. Your support means the world to me!

Edit: I appreciate all the kind messages and congratulations—thank you for the awards as well! Your encouragement truly fuels my motivation.

  1. Congratulations on securing your first internship! That’s a fantastic achievement and a significant step forward in your career journey.

As you prepare to sign your NDA and internship contract, make sure to review all documents carefully, paying attention to confidentiality clauses and your responsibilities. It’s also beneficial to connect with your project team ahead of your start date to better understand the web application you’ll be working on and any tools or platforms you’ll be using.

Since you’re focusing on Quality Assurance, consider brushing up on common testing methodologies, automation tools, and reporting best practices to maximize your contribution during the internship. Also, keep a record of your accomplishments—they can be invaluable when applying for future roles or transitioning into a part-time position.

Best of luck with your internship, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need further guidance or resources. You’re on an exciting path, and your proactive attitude will serve you well!
