The Thrill and Anxiety of Pursuing My Dream Job in Cybersecurity
Today is an exhilarating day for me—I’ve got an interview scheduled in just 30 minutes with my ideal company in the cybersecurity field. This position represents all of my hard work and dedication, so naturally, I’m feeling a whirlwind of emotions right now. The excitement is palpable, yet it’s balanced by a heavy dose of anxiety.
Over the past two weeks, I’ve immersed myself in study and preparation, squeezing in those crucial hours after long days at work. Despite my efforts, I find myself a bundle of nerves, grappling with both enthusiasm and apprehension. I want to do well, and the stakes feel incredibly high.
Unfortunately, I’m unable to share this news on my usual social media platforms due to my current employer being aware of my Twitter handle. It’s a bit isolating to carry these feelings without a community to vent to—especially when this interview is such a significant moment for me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. I realize this might not be the most conventional post, but I needed an outlet to express my excitement. Fingers crossed for what comes next!
