Embracing the Nerves: My Journey to an Interview with My Dream Cybersecurity Company

Today is a monumental day for me. In just 30 minutes, I will be stepping into an interview with a cybersecurity company that I’ve long admired, vying for a position I have diligently worked towards. To say I’m feeling a whirlwind of emotions would be an understatement—I’m simultaneously thrilled and anxious!

For two weeks, I’ve immersed myself in study and preparation, squeezing in hours of review around my demanding job. Now, as the moment draws closer, I find myself struggling to contain my excitement and nervousness. It feels surreal that I’m even at this point, and the reality is finally sinking in.

Unfortunately, I can’t share my journey on my usual social media platforms because my current employer is connected to my accounts. So, I’m turning to this blog as an outlet for my thoughts and feelings. I just needed a space to express my happiness mixed with trepidation!

Update: I Did It!

I have fantastic news to share—I’ve made it through to the next round! The exhilaration is still coursing through me, and I cannot express how grateful I am for all the positive energy I received along the way. I’m still shaking from the thrill of it all!
