Dealing with Water Damage: Seeking Assistance for My Laptop

I hope this post finds you well. I find myself in a bit of a predicament and would greatly appreciate your insights. As I work on my bachelor thesis, my laptop—a critical tool for my studies—has suffered water damage due to an unfortunate incident in my backpack.
Although the device powers on and the indicator light is functioning, the screen remains black. In an effort to salvage my laptop, I cautiously opened it up for a thorough cleaning. However, I lack the technical expertise to assess the extent of the damage or determine potential repair options.
