Discovering a Piece of Tech History: The Sharp PC-7000

During a recent organization project in the shed, I stumbled upon a fascinating relic from the past: my father’s portable computer, the Sharp PC-7000. This vintage device, which has been tucked away outside for a while now, has certainly seen better days—probably due to its unfortunate battle with the occasional spider.

It’s amazing to think that this computer can still power on with just the right connection! If I’m being honest, it brought a wave of nostalgia as I recalled hearing stories about my dad using it during his classes. Seeing it now with all its original floppies intact truly highlights how groundbreaking it was back in its heyday.
