Troubleshooting My Acer GD245HQ Monitor: A Head-Scratching Issue
As a proud owner of an Acer GD245HQ monitor, I’ve enjoyed many gaming sessions, including conquering GTA V in stunning detail. However, I’ve recently encountered a perplexing problem that has left me frustrated and seeking answers.
Every night, out of habit, I power down my monitor using the button. Yet, come morning, it refuses to power back on. This isn’t a one-time occurrence; it has happened consistently. The button functions perfectly, and to rule out any cable issues, I even swapped it with another monitor and tested various cables—all to no avail. After several forced shutdowns, I discovered an odd pattern: leaving the monitor unplugged for two days seemed to reset its functionality.
What’s particularly strange is that this has now happened four times. Each time, the monitor comes back to life only after an extended period of being unpowered, which has prompted me to wonder if I should completely avoid turning it off at all in the future.
