I’m Nervous Before My Big Interview at the Company I’ve Always Dreamed Of!

Embracing the Nerves: My Journey to Landing an Interview with My Dream Company

Today marks a significant milestone in my professional journey—an interview with my dream cybersecurity company is just around the corner. With only 30 minutes left until the start time, I find myself feeling a whirlwind of emotions. On one hand, I am filled with exhilarating excitement, and on the other, I’m consumed by anxiety.

For the past two weeks, I have dedicated countless hours to studying and preparing for this moment, often after putting in long days at work. The prospect of this interview has been my motivation, driving me to polish my skills and deepen my understanding of the industry. But despite all this preparation, I can’t help but feel like a bundle of nerves right now.

To make matters more complicated, I’ve kept this news close to my chest, refraining from sharing it on my social media accounts for fear that my current employer might catch wind of my aspirations. So here I am, pouring out my excitement and anxiety into this blog—a safe haven where I can freely express my feelings without the worry of being overheard.

Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts; it means a great deal to me. While this may not be the typical post you’d see here, I felt it necessary to share a glimpse of my journey and seek a little support as I navigate these thrilling yet nerve-racking moments.
