Exciting Upgrades: My New PC Build After Seven Years
It’s hard to believe that I’ve been using my old setup for seven long years! My trusty i7-8700 and Zotac RTX 2070 Super have served me well, but the time has finally come for an upgrade. I’m thrilled to share the details of my new build, which I’ve been meticulously piecing together over the past five to six months.
Understanding the Upgrade Journey
Before I dive into the specifics of my new components, let me provide a bit of context. Living in Bangladesh, I’ve encountered challenges finding quality PC parts due to their limited availability. To make the process more manageable, I’ve included the prices I paid for each item in USD, as I converted them from BDT. Notably, my graphics card was the only component sourced from Thailand, and some prices—particularly for the monitor—might come as a surprise. This is largely because high taxes significantly inflate the costs of monitors and TVs in our region.
