Seeking Guidance on Replacing My ThinkBook G4 Keyboard with a Japanese Layout

I’m looking to upgrade the keyboard on my ThinkBook G4 and I have my eye on a Japanese version. While I’ve found a Japanese keyboard that’s designed for the ThinkBook G2, I’m curious if it’s feasible to use it on my G4 model.
